I recently fell in love with the name Crimson for a girl. What do you think of it?

Would it work for a character supposed to be born in 1777?

Thanks in advance!

Scarlett would work better imo.

Her original name was Odette but it didn't feel right so I was looking throgh a baby name book and Crimson stood out and now she justs feels like a Crimson.

I wanted her name to be different and I think that Scarlett is to mainstream of a name for her.

The book isn't actually set in 1777. She is a vampire who was changed in 1777. It's set in 2009.
