I've been thinking a lot about possible sibling names that would go nicely with the boy and girl name we have picked out for this first baby due November 12th. The full boys name isn't final but Ben and I decided that if it is a boy he would be called Wiley and if a girl, Leona Evermay nn Lennie after Ben's grandmother Leona Mae.

So, what names from my list sound nice with Lennie/Wiley??

If we have one of each, obviously our first choices are Lennie & Wiley which I think sound nice together.

If we have two girls, what do you think Lennie's sister should be called?

Molly - I've been thinking about Molly a lot, although I know Ben isn't too fond of it. He says it is a dogs name and I somewhat agree. I've had two dogs named Molly and my aunt's current dog is named Molly. However, I don't think that would deter me from using it. I just like it too much. Do you think Lennie & Molly would make a cute sib set? I'm thinking maybe Molly Patience or Molly Georgiana for the full name.

Sidda - Sidda is my other favorite name for a girl at the moment. However, I'm not sure how well it sounds with Lennie. Lennie & Sidda? Full name would be Sidda Marylark after my grandparents.

Percy - Despite the similarity of Percy with my nieces' names (Gracie & Luci) I still really adore this name for a girl. What do you think of Percy & Lennie?

River - This one is a bit more modern than many of my other names, but it does have a bit of old school southern feel about it which is all me. I've mentioned it to Ben before and he seemed neutral about it. (He gets kind of huffy if I talk about girls names because he thinks I'm backing out on Leona Evermay). Lennie & River?

Indiana "Indy" - Ben really liked Indiana "Indy" for a boy, but I tend to prefer it more for a girl. But are Lennie & Indy a bit too similar sounding?



If we have two boys, what do you think Wiley's little brother should be called?

Theodore "Teddy" - This was our first choice for a boy, and now our back up since we have gotten a lot of negative feedback from family members. I still think Teddy is adorable and Teddy & Wiley would be an even more adorable sib set.

Amos - Ben seemed a bit neutral on Amos but I still like it. Wiley & Amos.

Rand - I prefer this to Randal, etc. Wiley & Rand?

Nathaniel "Nathan" - This one is Ben's favorite. I'm not a huge fan, but Nathan & Wiley don't sound all that bad.

Xavier - Another one of Ben's favorites. Wiley & Xavier?

My favourites are:

Lennie (Leona) & Molly

My absolute favourite from your girls. I adore Molly and don't think it's too much of a "dog name" at all. Both Lennie and Leona work wonderfully with it IMHO.

Lennie (Leona) & Sidda (I think Evermay and Marylark work great together)

Wiley & Rand

Wiley & Amos

Teddy (Theodore), Nathan and Xavier work great with Wiley too.. but I love how the above sound with Wiley in a sib-set.

Lennie and Sidda is amazing. I really adore Sidda. It took me a minute to place the name, but did you get it from The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood? Regardless, I love it! I agree with Yas that Evermay and Marylark are really nice.

I don't like Percy or River for girls. I don't like Indiana for a boy or a girl. And I like Molly, but I don't like that you've have dogs with that name before. I just think that's kinda weird.

My favorite boys sib set is Theodore and Xavier.

I'm not a fan of Amos or Rand. Nathaniel is okay.

I can't decide if I like Lennie and Molly most or Lennie and Indy (Indiana). I really love it!! <3
