I knew a girl in high school and she has two boys, Remington Kenneth Rydar ******* and Colt James *******. Both named after gun references. She had Remington Nov 22, 2012 and Colt was born Sept 18, 2013. 10 months after Remington.
What do you think of each of the names individually and as a pairing?

I like the name Remington but for some reason it strikes me as a girl name. Maybe because I know 2 girls that go by Remy. I feel like Remington Kenneth Rydar ***** is a very long name. I also like the name Colt... It was one of my favorite names for a very long time but I went to HS with Colt McCoy and I people would think I named my child after him lol.
As a pair I feel like the names are fine. I don't like it when parents go with a theme and it's overdone like Rain/Rainy, Stormy, Sonny.... Yes I knew a family with these names ha I don't feel like these names both scream gun so I think they work fine together
