We do not know what we are having but I believe we have decided on a boy name of Maxamillion. My husband wants to middle name to be Larse and I disagree. Also we cannot decide on a girls name. I love Nora Michelle or Thora Michelle and he likes the name Gretchen. Please help!

Nora Michelle is great! Maybe you can compromise and use Gretchen as a middle name?

As for a boy - maybe again, you can compromise?

My first impression: I have always seen the name as Maximilian, and the way you have it spelled made me pause; it made me think 'that doesn't feel right' and felt like a squish of "Max a million!" Regardless of how you choose to spell the name, Larse doesn't feel like it flows to me... I could see it working if your surname has three syllables.

As for the female name, I think Nora Gretchen or Thora Gretchen sounds like a lovely compromise.
