There are really only two characters in this story. Ever since I started, I have been unable to choose a name and stick with it. At first, they didn't have names at all. The girl was Aviva and became Mercedes nn Mercy, and the boy was Jay and became Theo. I've scratched it all... I NEED YOUR HELP!
The girl is emotionally strong, she puts walls up and tries to forget her past. The boy is a dreamer, he's sweet and everyones friend. They go through the same stuff (mostly) but they respond to it differently. They end up together, but their relationship is rocky. The girl can't find stability and the boy is head over heels in love with her.
Please help! I'm open to all suggestions!

Age group? Teens? Older?

Um...Boy: Jeffrey, Jacob, Daniel, Aaron, Patrick, Simon, Elliot, Gary, Reid.

Girl: Sophie, Alyssa, Marisol, Evie, Brenda, Gemma, Zoe, Lauren, Erica?

Thanks! It's modern, and they are teens but it never really says their age, if that makes any sense. They are in a high school shooting, and they are students so they're in that range.
I like Aaron and Zoe, do you think they go together?
