Was just browsing through Celeb Names (I think that section is called...) and I see alot of people don't like the name Suri.

For discussion sake, what is it about it that you dont or do like?

A fun fact about it is that it is the Yiddish form of Sarah, which means for Princess in Hebrew.

So beside it being a celeb name aside, tell me your thoughts! :)

Personally, I hate the name. I had heard that it was made up. I didn't know that it was Persian. Also I don like I because it doesn't have the pretty ring that names like sarai or malia have (two examples of old or foreign names)
Suri doesn't sound or look appealing
In my opinion

I think Suri is cute. It isn't a name I would have chosen but now that it's on someone, it's cute.

Josh and I enjoy hanging out together either fishing, camping, geocaching, hiking or just walking the dogs. We're very active in our church and hang out with our Sunday school group a lot.

I like Suri- I think it does have a pretty ring to it. I also like the name Sari. But I'm with thallison in that it's not a name I personally would have chosen but I like it on other people.

Suri reminds me of the place in England (Surrey) and it doesnt seem like the thing that you would want to name your daughter...It just isn't pretty to me.
