Hi, we're having our first girl and need to decide on a name. We like Emmy Rosalie Wren and Jenna Naomi Wren, but my parents hate them and people have said don't use Jenna with Wren. Usually, I don't care what people say, but I suppose it will matter for our girl getting the name. My parents want a classic name like Kathleen, Elizabeth or Georgina, but to me, they just sound boring. So what do we do? The only names we're good at coming up with are not good.
So do we use Emmy or Jenna and ignore others or do you have suggestions

It's your child, so I say name her what you like! They will all love her no matter what!

I think Emmy Rosalie Wren is beautiful! I kind of see Emmy as more of a nickname. I think Emma, Emily, Emmeline, Emilia, etc. all sound a little more complete.

Jenna Naomi Wren isn't really my style, but it flows nice and the names all sound good together.

Hope this helps! :)

Ultimately, remember that it is your child and not theirs, so it is your choice.

I do agree with MissJay that Emmy seems like more of a nickname, I feel like Emily, Emma, Emmeline, etc would be much better for her when she's grown up, but you can still call her Emmy and just use it as her name :) But again, it's your child

I think Jenna is a pretty name! What if you switched out one middle name for another name your family would like?
