Daphne (like daff- nee)
I think the long 'a' sound is harder for our Asian friends... I notice here in the States they usually choose the long 'e' sound.

Natasha -lots of easy syllables
Mila -quite trendy, and pronounced Mee-la with emphasis on the 'Mi'
Anne/Ann -a little old and plain but classic, smart and easy to pronounce
Vera -dynamic but short
Olive -trendy and very sweet. Name is associated with Peace.
Carla -easier to pronounce than Clara. Smart but a little plain and outdated.
Lisa -VERY easy to pronounce. Say Lee-sa. Smart but a little 90's.
Amber -this is one of the few 'object' names you can get away with, but a little dated.
Melody- Getting into the more fancy names here- but still has simple clear sounds so should be easy to pronounce.
Kate- good all-rounder, still trendy.
Ada -similar names are Ava, Eva. Ada is the easiest to pronounce, but all are trendy.
Gemma - or Emma. Or Emily.
Hope you find a name you like
Some advice if you want to look for other names-
1. Avoid 'object' names. Don't call yourself Flower or Fish or anything. Some object names are ok, but you need to check first.
2. Avoid names that are strongly associated with certain cultures. For example, Helga is very German and it would be odd for anyone to be called it with no German ancestry. A little bit French is ok though. Common names are usually the most generic and can be used on anyone. Names like Lily and Rose are examples of names with no ethnic connatations.
3. Don't use really old English names. Some are coming back in trend, and then you can be super trendy- but some really aren't. So be careful.
4. Beware of 'modern' names. These names are generally made up ones. Just type the name in your computer and if it has a red line under it don't use it.

I have always thought Connie was the most adorable name for an Asian-American girl
