Abilene - All I think of is Kansas. Sorry! I like Abby/Abbey/Abbie, but not keen on the Abi spelling of the nn

Acacia (ah-kay-see-ah) - This is much more commonly pronounced Ah-kay-shuh, so I feel like she'd always be correcting people on pronunciation. I love Acacia (ah-kay-shuh), though.

Amaryllis - not my favorite, but still cute

Amity - again, not my favorite, bus still cute

Antoinette nn Etta - I adore Etta, but really can't seem to like Antoinette. Sorry.

Arianwen - I love Arianwen!  So uncommon, such a gem. I love the Aria nn.

Bedelia - this will forever in my mind be associated with Amelia Bedelia, the children's storybook character, a maid who took every command literally. It is a positive association, but these days for a little girl it seems like more of a joke :( It would make a cute middle name.

Bronwen - Love this! Especially this spelling.

Calanthe - not my style

Celestine - not my style

Clarinda - feels a little dated, but not awful. I love the nn Clara.

Cecily - Not my favorite, but still really cute.

Ceridwen - I have a thing for -wen names <3 I like it.

Dorothea - not my style, although I love Thea.

Drusilla - It sounds a little creepy...I don't know why, it just gives me that feeling.

Edeline nn Edie - Too cute

Eugenia nn Eugenie - ehh, to be honest I think she might get teased as the boys' Eugene is considered very dorky. That isn't to say you can't use it at all, though. just something to consider.

Eulalie - Cute!  :D

Euphemia nn Effie - this is going to sound harsh, but to me Euphemia sounds like a disease...Sorry!!

Geneva nn Eva/Evie - Sooo cute. Love both nicknames, too. Evie is my favorite, though.

Imogene - never really found a liking for it. Sorry.

Isadora - I prefer Isabella, but still cute. Totally usable, yet not common.

Mabel - love it. it is my cousin's nickname (her name being Madeline Belle)

Maude - cute
Octavia - seems a little unusable these days, but that's just my own opinion. It would be a cute middle.

Rosalind (roz-ah-lind) - Lovely.

Rowena (ro-when-ah) - So cute!

Theodora - Not my style, but I love Thea!

Viola - pretty

Virginia - not my style, but Ginny is a cute nickname.

WOW!!! You've got a lot of really GORGEOUS names here!!

Abilene nn Abi -very pretty and unusual without being strange!

Acacia (ah-kay-see-ah) - this lovely name is actually quite common where I live, although the 2 Acacias I know pronounce their name "Ah-KAY-shah".

Amaryllis - I LOVE this delicate feminine name and would use the nickname Rilla for it!

Amity - Gorgeous, quaint and sweet!

Antoinette nn Etta - I LOVE Antoinette but with the nickname Tonina or Tonya!

Arianwen nn Arianne/Aria - quite lovely with EXQUISITE nicknames!!

Bedelia - I love this quirky old fashioned name and would use the nickname Delia!

Bronwen - sorry, this is the first name I really don't like.

Calanthe - LOVELY!! Romantic and dreamy with gorgeous possible nicknames Callie or Anthea!! This and Abilene are the only two I have never heard of before!! WOW!! Beautiful meaning too! Can I please add it to my Favourites List??

Celestine - Lovely and elegant!

Clarinda - Lovely and sounds familiar evenot though it's rare!

Cecily - sweet, frilly and old fashioned!!

Ceridwen (ker-id-wen) - I have a GORGEOUS friend named Ceridwen so I love it because of her!

Dorothea - Makes me think of a German Aunty so not one I can picture on a Baby, sorry, but perfectly lovely and with sweet nicknames!

Drusilla - Ugh! Sorry!!

Edeline nn Edie - LOVE it but would use the nicknames Edel or Lina.

Eugenia nn Eugenie - not my style, sorry!

Eulalie - a very pretty mouthful!

Euphemia nn Effie - Gorgeous but I would use the nickname Phemi!

Geneva nn Eva/Evie - Lovely and elegant with great nicknames!

Imogene (ihm-mo-geen) - as with Acacia this lovely name is actually quite common where I live in Australia but the many Imogens and Imogenes I know all pronounce their name "IHM-mo-gen".

Isadora - quite lovely.

Mabel - sweet and old fashioned!

Maude - sorry, but this is not my style!

Octavia - quite lovely.

Rosalind (roz-ah-lind) - GORGEOUS and with so many lovely possibilities for nicknames: Rosa, Rosie, Rose, Lindy, Linda etc

Rowena (ro-when-ah) - quite nice but not really my style.

Theodora - Lovely, with gorgeous nicknames like Thea and Dora!

Viola - GORGEOUS!! A flower AND a musical instrument!! What could be better?

Virginia - not my style, sorry.

Hope this helps!! :)
