A very simple game. First poster will post a boy name and a girl name. Second poster will rate on a scale of one to five. Five is the best and one is the worst. Then they will post two new names.

The scale:

5= LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

4= Oh, yeah I like that

3= Eh, I guess it's okay

2= I don't like it

1= What could that poor child have possibly done to you before it was even born to make you hate it so much?

First names:

Nicholas Orion

Alexandria Olivia

Alexandria Olivia - 3. I prefer Alexandra, and for the best flow, choose a middle name that does not start with a vowel or end in -a.

Nicholas Orion - 3. Nicholas is okay. I don't love it, but it's classic and handsome. I don't like Orion.

Aubrey Cordelia and Archer Nathaniel are the next names.

Aubrey Cordelia- 2, Aubrey okay, but Cordelia sounds like an old lady's name to me and just has a generally unattractive sound

Archer Nathaniel- 4 I like Archer quite a but, and Nathaniel is nice

Hector Menelaus- 2. The meaning of Hector is quite pleasant, however I picture a man in a poverty country. Menelaus is alright, both are just not my style. I like the fact that they are both Greek origin (I think.)

Hadassah Grace- 3.5. Hadassah is alright, again just not what I would choose to name my child. I like Grace as a middle name.

    AND, I of course love thinking of baby names even though that is a VERY far in the future thing for me because I'm still young!

Posted 04 February 2014 - 09:58 PM

Lucas Ryan- 3. It's a nice name, but I feel like I've heard it a million times. I like the nick name possibilities, though.

Vanessa Janae- 3. I think Vanessa is pretty. Janae isn't my style, I think Vanessa Jane sounds better.

Hermione Claire- 3.5 I LOVE Claire. Hermione from the books is such a great character, the name itself is alright.

Nycola Janelle- 3 - Nycola is okay but I prefer Nicole or Nicolet (whichever the spelling). Janelle is a nice enough name. The flow is alright.

Austin Spencer- 3.75 - I love the name Austin and I really like the name Spencer just not paired together.

Vincent "Vin/Vince" Edward- 3, both are all right names, din't particularly like the nicknames

Elizabella Adeline- 2.5 elizabeth would have been okay, Isabella would have been better, but Elizabella is silly to me, Adeline is pretty

Austin Michael - 3: The names are nice enough, but they're predictable and, in my opinion, a bit boring since I hear them so much. It's not terrible though.

Angelina Rain - 2: I'm not a fan of Angelina, although I do sort of like the nickname Lina. Rain is lovely, but I prefer the spelling Raine; it reminds me of a character from my favourite book series.

Emrys Nathaniel - 4 - It flows well and I love the particularly interesting 'story' behind the name Emrys. Nathaniel is okay but not one of my favorites.

Ava Josephine - 4 - I like it overall and it has a really nice sound, but I hear Ava quite a lot. The nickname AJ would be cute though.

Beatrice Clara 3- I would give Beatrice a 4, but I don't think it flows well with Clara. Maybe Clare would be better, since Beatrice is such a long name.

Gavin Thomas 2- I guess these are both nice names, but sadly, I have bad associations with both of them, so they get a low score from me :(

Daisy Ann - 3 - I'm not really a fan of Daisy, and Ann is very plain, but I think it flows nicely and I don't have any big problems with either name.

Jack Andrew - 3 - I really love Jack, but with the And- beginning of Andrew, it brings Jack and Jill to mind. Even if it didn't, though, I'm not a fan of the flow of the whole name.

Cassandra Rose- 3. I ADORE Cassandra, but Rose is way overused.
