I love this name, but I haven't decided which spelling I prefer yet. Initially I said Reid because I'm all for traditional names (and I continue to lean toward it just because I'm uncertain about Reed), but I feel like Reed is also nice because it has that nature-y and musical feel to it. What do you guys think?

I like Reed better, partly because of the natury/music thing and also because when I see the other one I want to pronounce it like Ray-d rather than ree-d

I think Reid appears more like a name whereas Reed looks more like a word to me.  So I would go with Reid! It's very handsome and traditional, but the musical/nature connotations are still there with that spelling.

I prefer Reid. I don't really have any particular reasons, I just like that spelling better.
