I really like the name Milo for a boy. This will be cute for a child, but will it be hard to take Milo seriously as an adult?  I like August as a middle name.  I also like Louie as a first name but not Louis, can I go with just Louie? Suggestions?

AND, I of course love thinking of baby names even though that is a VERY far in the future thing for me because I'm still young!

I think Milo is a nicer sounding name than Louie, but I agree that I don't see it aging well. Could you possible reverse the order? August Milo is cute, but still masculine, and will age much better.

I think the name Milo ages fine! I know several adult Milo's. If you give him a more 'traditional' middle name he can always choose to go by that, if he wants to...

I love Milo. I think it will age well. I always think of Gerard Butler's character in The Bounty Hunter. His name is Milo and even though it's just a character it still seems to suit him fine in the movie as an adult.

Milo August sounds fine.

I like Louie but prefer it as a nickname to Louis.
