I think its cute, but it definitely sounds like a nickname.

WDYT? And can you think of any full names that Caddy could be a nickname for?

I agree, it's a cute nickname but I think it could work as a full name. Are you pronouncing it KAH-DEE? Cadence is the only thing I can really think of even though I would probably use KAY-DEE as a nn for Cadence.

Josh and I enjoy hanging out together either fishing, camping, geocaching, hiking or just walking the dogs. We're very active in our church and hang out with our Sunday school group a lot.

Yes, its prn the same way.

I orginally read the name in a book. The girl's full name (she was named for a paint color) was Cadmium Gold.

I read that book, Permanent Rose :P It was a cute book, I liked it! Cadmium is sweet. Other fuller names:
-Caroline (Like Caddy Woodlawn. The book. Her first name is Caroline but she's called Caddy. This is the original name Caddy was used a nn for :P
-Cassidy
-Caden/Cayden
-Candace
-Cadence
-Caradee (I don't remember where I saw this name)
I can't think of any others, but if I do I'll post 'em  ~Had

I love it! I love most nicknames ending in -ddie or -ddy. (Addie, Haddie, Caddie/y, etc.)

Acadia
Cadence
Cadmium

Made up names:
Cadeline* (Cad-i-line)
Cadley*
Cadlyn
Cadbelle
Cadabelle
Caddison/Cadison*
Cademma
Cadily
Cadivia
Caddibeth
Cadia*
Cadlor
Cadianne
Cadiana
Vicadia
Cadiella

I know some of these are ridiculous, but some are kinda cute!

Cadia is cute. Reminds me of Lydia and Nadia. It is Nadia, just with a "C"! :P

Your're welcome Rose!

I also like Cadeline. They don't sound completely ridiculous and made up like...Julonissalyn or something.

My uncle used to call me Caddy, but he was the only one. Ever since he died, my grandpa has started calling me that :P Other than that it has always been Cady (Katie).

Cadmium is kinda a neat name!
