Thoughts on Annika? How do you pronounce it? Anna-kah or Awn-a-kah? Middle name ideas?

I like ANN-ick-uh very much, but definitely not uh-NEE-kuh. I wish there was a way to spell it with c's instead of k's...I think that'd be much prettier, but I don't know how I'd make it work! Annica? Anicca? Annicca? It just doesn't look right.

Wow I am very surprised by all the variations in pronunciation. I have always said it more like Ann-ah-kah. I really like it said this way but I would be hesitant to use it knowing that my pronunciation is in the minority. I also like it said Awn-ah-kah but it is a little unpractical to expect people to say it that way in the west.

I've always pronounced it ANN-ih-kah. I've never really liked the name, but the nn Nika I have always liked.

I used to love Annika nn Nika but someone once pointed out that Nika sounds a lot like a certain derogatory word. I don't like Nika anymore.
