DH and I have two kids already and no plans to add a third. But, as a name nerd, I like to have a name or two in mind for just in case! Anyway, are children are Kayli Dawn and Luke Thomas.

With Kayli, we were completely on opposite ends of names, with DH set on one name I could not stand. We finally both gave a little and I agreed to his terms of the name starting with a "K" and ending with an "I" as long as I got to pick the name. Then, I found out there are not that many names which met his guidlines! So, Kayli, was selected. I like the nn Kay and figure she can go by that when she is older. Dawn is my mn as well as my dad's name.

Luke was much easier. Thomas is after dh and dh's grandfather.

Now, what names would go well with Kayli and Luke? Despite Kayli's name, I'm really not into trendy names. I actually prefer longer traditional names with a nice nn. (my fave for Kayli was Katherine, nn Kate). For boys, I tend to like Biblical, timeless names that are definitively masculine. MNs would be after family; Girl: Jean (or a variation of Jean) is the #1 choice with June or Marie being options; Boy: Travis is the #1 choice with Charles, Delbert or Eugene being options. Last name starts with "M", so no "M" names!

Some ideas I've had:

Amelia Jean
Chloe Jean
Julia ???
Olivia Jean
Charlotte Jean
Elizabeth Jean
Josephine ??
Rebekah Jean

Benjamin Travis
Elijah Travis
Gabriel Travis
Isaac Travis
Joel Travis
Joseph Travis
Joshua Travis
Levi Travis

What do you think? Other suggestions?

I think you should go with something really short and simple (similar to Luke, actually), because it could look mismatched with Kayli. For instance, the styles in a sibset of Kayli, Luke and Josephine or Kayli, Luke, and Isaac would look too different.

From your list, I think Olivia, Joel, and Levi fit best with your kids names.

More ideas-
Zoe
Abigail (Abby)
Hannah
Vita
Claire
Emma
Ivy
Kira
Xanthe
Thora
Lux / Lucy

Rory
Miles
Kai
Micah
Emery
Liam
Quentin
Aidan
River

Good luck!
