So tonight, I was stuck at church for about 10 hours (okay, that's an exaggeration) while I waited in line for Confession. So while I waited in line, I was incredibly bored so I began to read off the giant list of benefactors my pastor has printed on a poster in the back of the church. I found some interesting names, and I thought I would share them with you guys.

Albina
Lilliam
Aurelia
Pamalyn
Inza
Adolphine
Olga
Moira
Lana

Virgil
Valentino
Garland
Ramon
Gerie

The only ones I kind of like are Moira and Aurelia. So what do you guys think? Would you actually use any of them?

I love Moira and Lana. Aurelia is really pretty too, but I wouldn't actually use it. I would definitely use Moira, and I would probably use Alana with the nickname Lana.

The rest are definitely not ones I'd use though.

I only one I like is Lana, but I would only use it as a nickname for Alanna because it does spell anal backwards. Lilliam is probably the second best. Thanks for sharing. ;)

I kind of like Moira & Aurelia.
Lana is not bad, either. And Olga was my grandmother's name, so while I may not love it like crazy, it's still a special name to me ;)

When I was in first grade, a boy in my class was named Valentino.. and I've actually met a Ramon before! (In Italy! Can you believe that!)
None of them are my style, though! :D

Adolphine is the one I just can't get over--poor woman. And its not like there's any nicknames you can get from it either. If it were my name, I'd probably just go by my middle name or something ;)

Aurelia
Valentino
Garland
Ramon

These are the ones that I would use though the others arent too bad.
P.S. I would hate to have to go to confession. Thank God I am not Catholic. Does it bother you? I apologize to God in Jesus name. That's why I'm asking. Not to step on toes...just wondering.

P.S. I would hate to have to go to confession. Thank God I am not Catholic. Does it bother you? I apologize to God in Jesus name. That's why I'm asking. Not to step on toes...just wondering.

My family is Catholic, which is why we go to a Catholic church, but I consider myself to be just a Christian. As for confession, I confess to God almost on a daily basis when I pray on my own. I don't believe that confession is the only way to be forgiven. In fact, my family only goes twice a year because of tradition--during Advent and Lent when the big penance services are held. I don't mind going to confession every so often---it really forces me to think of my sins instead of brushing them off to the side, and sometimes it feels good to confess them out loud, especially to a person who's not going to judge you or tell anyone else. I often feel very good after I come out of confession, especially if I take the time to be honest with the priest--and I know its not the priest who is actually forgiving me. Just like when I pray on a daily basis, it's God who's forgiving my sins. So to answer your question, no confession doesn't bother me, but its not something I depend on. I know God forgives my sins whenever I pray and ask him to...
