WDYT? Yay or nay? Boy or girl? (I've heard it on both--prefer it on a girl though)

I don't like it at all. It sounds like the name of a college university..CARRINGTON UNIVERSITY

I'm not crazy about it on either sex (and I know both a boy and a girl with this name). I don't hate it either, though, and I think it can be cute with the nn Carrie.

I like it only as a mn for a boy with a short name like Eli or Levi.

Sounds like a last name or town name to me. If anything, I would put it as a girls middle name... still, I really dislike it.
