Charlotte is a great old name that's making a popular comeback. I love the name Charlotte Rose. Also how about Cassandra (Cassie), Lucy Jane, Alexis, Amelia, Ruby or June?

I always was a fan of charmed and always wanted to name my first born Prudence, Prue for short, its super old fashioned but I thought it was pretty and original compared to all the names currently floating around (like Apple? Let's be real). But, my mom forever kept telling me that the kids at school would make fun of her and call her "prude" I think that no matter what you name your kid they're going to probably have that kid that makes fun of there name. Although I have come up with a NEW name for baby girl. I still love Prudence. Life story I know haha.

What about Coraline? I really like that name. Old-fashioned, but with a new-fangled twist.

A name I loved but my husband turned down was Helaine
It's like Helen but you can call her Laney for short!
Also the name Mabel is old but making a very nice comeback!

I'm trying to find an old fashioned name for our new addition that goes with her sisters names- Constance Diane & Lillian Elizabeth- We also have a Carmen Rose and a Brianna Page in the close family.

We had the same criteria for a name and we ended up naming our daughter after my great grandmother and we get compliments on her name all the time.
Amalia nn Mollie
She's the only Amalia people know, so it's different than the popular Amelia, but it's still has a familiar feel to it so it's not "out there" by any means

I actually think Maya is a very cute/kind of traditional name, but I also love Alexandra or Alexandria. Mackenzie is cute also.

My husband has many upper-class friends and all of their children have very old fashioned names. I would like a name for a girl that is old fashioned, but with a newfangled twist.
