My grandmother had 5 kids. They all ended up with R names even though she didn't plan it that way. What do you think?

Reginald Wayland
Rachael Renee
Rebel Lance
Roman Jason
Ryan Daniel

:)

I'm the only grandchild that starts with an R, though.

Are you sure she didn't plan it that way? :) I mean after the third child I think she might have noticed. I think that naming the kids with all the same letter on purpose might be a little cutesy but if you really love all the names then I guess its okay. I myself tend to like names that start with A, E, J, L and W. All the names I like start with these letters, but I guess five letters gives me enough variety that I wouldn't have to worry about my kids being named with all the same letter.

My grandparents kinda did something similar. My grandpa is named Lark Alfred and my grandma is Mary Nell and they named all three of their daughters with either an M or an L name.

Lena Claire
Milda Lynn- My mom, she hates her name and made me promise not to name a kid after her.

I don't like critiquing people's names. I do however believe your grandmother decided on these names because she liked them and than she liked that they all started with R. My Grandmother had

Laura Ellen
Donald Eugene

Haha..

As a child in a set of A names, I kinda don't like the idea. My mom named us

Amanda Taylor
Alexis Brooke
Austin Blake

Everyone calls us Triple A and it's gets annoying.

Your grandma's names are nice, tho I don't like Reginald. Rebel is unique...it's actually not so bad.

Reggie was after my grandfather (he was determined to have the first child named after him, be it boy or girl) and Wayland was Grandma's brother's middle name.

Rachael was from the movie The Unforgiven which Grandma saw right after giving birth and Renee she just liked

Rebel was named after his great uncle and Lance was after the football player Lance Rentzel

Roman was for the footballer Roman Gabriel and Jason was from the movie Jason and the Argonauts

Ryan I think she just liked and wanted him to be included with the R's, but I'm not sure. Daniel was from Daniel and the Lion's Den.

My mom just told me that I'm named for Rebecca from Cheers, and my twin brother is named for Joshua from Guiding Light.

Well, nothing like that happened in our family (my aunts and uncles all have different beginning letters), but with my grandpa, all the boys were named Savario, which is the Italian form of Xavier. So there were five Savarios who were cousins. They all went by something different, though. There was Sam (my grandpa whom I was named after), Sonny, Xavier, etc. And then on my grandma's side, all the boys are named Luigi (except for my brother, John). So we've got about ten little Luigis running around.
