Lake Eyre vs. Lake Torrens vs. Lake ?

Which sounds best for a boy? I love Lake Eyre, but is it too feminin sounding? These are both real lakes (both in Australia), and I want him to be named after a real lake (from anywhere works). We are expecting a boy, but I would like to have a girls name or two just in case. My last child (my first, actually) was suppose to be a boy, but it was a girl, Hayle River (in Europe). I’m opened to all suggestions! Thanks!

I don’t think Lake sounds Male or feminine it’s a uni name I say. It’s cute. But he could get teased. So Lake what’s your sisters name Pond, Swamp, River? I like though.

Lake Eyre does sound a bit feminine, but then I’m not sure how to pronounce it. Is it ’IRE’ or ’EAR-ee’ like Lake Erie? I think Lake Torrens for a boy and Lake Eyre for a girl, depending on the prn of Eyre.
