Why not just name him Jack if that’s what your going to call him? Emmy, Leighton and Jack go great. But Jack does seem to old for Emmy, Leighton so I say Tucker. then William.

Ok thanks. Do you have any other suggestions for fn or mn?

I love both John and Jack, but I’ve never heard of one as a nn for the other. I think Jack on its own would be nice. Otherwise, William goes best with Emmy and Leighton.

I’m just saying that John nn Jack will be hard for the guy because during role call in class they’ll say John _____ then he’ll have to tell them I go by Jack all the time. It would easier for him to be named Jack:) I think Jack Tucker has a great flow to it or Jack William!

I agree. Which name do you like better? Will or Jack?

Oh that’s tough. I love both nicknames that could come from them Jack nn Jackie (like Jackie Robinson) and Will nn Willy/Willie (like Willy Mays) Sorry big baseball fan and I love nicknames. Which nn do you like better because it’s possible people may use them?

I don’t really like Willie but does Jackie sound like a girl?

No it’s a uni-sex name. The forms of Jacqueline, Jaclyn came from Jack. I like it for either gender.

No it’s like Layton just spelled Leighton.

So u all don’t think Jackie is too girl. Because after 2 girls we want him to have an all-boy name.

Ok thanks. Do you like Jack William, Jack Tucker, or Jack Cooper? Thanks for all of your help. You have been a life saver!

No problem I love baby names! Um that’s hard I like all. Some may tell you Cooper reminds them of a dog but I have a 3 1/2 year old cousin Cooper and I really like it. Though Jack ending in a hard K sound and Cooper starting with it is a little hard to say but I still think it flows. If you don’t mind Jack and Tucker having the same sounds that’s cute to and Jack William seems very strong and masculine. I love strong names but I love them all:) Would you like the meanings? Maybe that will help?

I vote William Cooper . nicknames Liam or Will

I love Tucker, Cooper and Liam. Jack is ok but my husband says he’ll get made fun of. I REALLY dislike William and especially John, both are so old sounding to me, and John is so plain!
I’ve never really understood how people get Jack from John, but it has been done for years...former president JFK is a perfect example.
To go with Emmy and Leighton you need something less old fashioned like Tucker, Cooper or Liam, IMO. Jackson, nn Jack, would work well. GL!!

I love Will and Jack. William Cooper gets my vote. They are both great names and go well with Emmy and Leighton. Good luck!

If you are still willing to help me, the girls were acting up, what are the meanings for the names. That may help a lot.
