I like Whitney spelled this way--cute name though. I have only seen Chandler on boys, not sure if I like it on a girl, though.

I don’t like either. For sure change Chandler. Its a boys name and it just doesn’t sound all that pretty. Whitney is ok, I guess. I think of it more as a last name, but then I think of Whitney Houston, so I guess it could be a first name too.
What about Carly or Carmen?

Whitney and Karli are cute together. I like Whitney with one T better because with two T’s it just seems like you get stuck in the middle of the name trying to say both T’s. But then, are you planning to say it ’WHIH-t-knee’ or WITT-tnee’. I don’t really know how to write it, but the first one is more like in kitten where you don’t really say the T but its still kind of there while in the second its a hard T, like how foreign people say ToronTo.
