I love Catriona!! Not exactly sure how to say Aoife, but if I’m any example, then most Amercans (if you live in the US) will say it ’AY-oyf’ or ’AY-oh-eefe.’

It’s pronounced "E-fah" ;) Although a couple of years ago I was pronouncing it "Ay-oh-if"

It’s pronounced "Eee-fah" I know, its a strange pronounciation, just like a lot of the names. =]

Oh I mean, when I first saw the name, I didn’t pronounce it correctly. When most people see it they pronounce it like "Ay-oh-if" or something else. Then I met someone named Aoife, they corrected me =]

I think Aoife is really pretty. And i love that it is a real name with a distinct heritage. I have a friend with that name and she loves it. People compliment her on it a lot.
