Delilah vs. Seraphina vs. Macey

I voted for Macey, but Lilah would be my top if it were an option. Religious or not, Delilah is a biblical name of a not so great person. Seraphina is nice, but it is long and would be tiresome to say and I’m not a huge fan of Sarah so the nn Sera doesn’t do much for me.

i say seraphina because the others arent that pretty imo, and at least with seraphina you can use sara or sera as nn which is a great name

Thanks for your input pp’s! I wasnt even aware that Delilah was a biblical name lol. I do really like Lilah though.

If you really cared (doesn’t always matter to everyone), Delilah means "one who weakened or uprooted or impoverished". The bottom line of the biblical story is "Samson loved Delilah, she betrayed him, and, what is worse, she did it for money". But that’s all folklore to some people, so take it as you want. Too bad the name has this connection, because it really is pretty. Lilah is too though.

If you don’t know who Delilah in the Bible is (I don’t either), then it sounds like you’re not religious at all or enough to mind, and so I wouldn’t worry about it. I think the name is beautiful and unique, but I don’t like it quite as much as Seraphina, which is gorgeous! I also really like the name Seraphine, which I heard in the movie An American Werewolf In Paris and fell in love with. I do like Delilah MUCH more than just Lilah, which is fairly trendy right now. GL!!

Oh, also, Macey is cute but much too cutesy and little girly to use as a full name. IMO it won’t age well. GL!!

I like Marcelline nn Marcy! That might be an option if you like Macey and Seraphina since it has qualities of both.

Thanks so much guys! Those are some good suggestions. I am not religous so you were right pp! ^^ we’ve added Lilah but we still really like Delilah too :) but keep the suggestions and comments coming!

yea i know a sweet littly cutie called macey. she is adorable. macye is best other more unique spellings are: Maciee Maycee Maycie Maicie, even Maisie (but that looks more like May-zee pronounciation.
