YES YES YES!!! My daughter’s name is Kate! People will tell you it is overused, but I don’t think it is at all. It is gorgeous!

I think Kate is cute, but I do prefer full names. Katelynn or Kathryn could have Kate as a nick name.

Kate is just gorgeous! Love it!!! I also prefer fuller names, but Kate is full enough by itself. GL!

Kate does sound professional enough, but at graduation and on wedding announcements, the full name Kate looks a bit childish, whereas Katherine is very elegant and beautiful. Then she can go by Kate as a nickname, or be called Katherine if she decides she wants to later! :)

Kate’s really a pretty & adorable name, I definitely think you should go for it. Kate Charlotte has always been one of my favorites.
