Asha/Asher vs. Girl vs. Boy

I really like this name and was wondering if it could be used as a girls name. I know of two people who have used this name. One named there child Asher Jack and the other named there child Asha Grace. Wanting opinions. Thanks

It depends on how you pronounce it.

If you pronounce Asha (A- shuh) it’s more girly.
If you prounce Asha (Ash-a) it’s still somewhat of a girls name.
But I’d have to say Asha (A-shuh) is your best bet if you want to name your daughter that when you have one.

And for Asher that’s a comeplete boys name.

Thanks for that. I thinking of maybe using it as a middle name. Any thoughts on first names?

I like Asha (Ay-sha) I know a girl who spells it Asia like the content.
