No, it doesn’t. SON of Maud means SON of Maud. "Madison," in the literal meaning, is no more a girl because "Maud" is female, than my son is a girl because *I* am female.

And people get in a fuss for different reasons. We’re human, we’re individuals, and we all bring different experiences, personalities and tastes to the table.
