MacRay vs. like it vs. dont like it

I recently ran across this name, it means Son of Grace and I am trying to find something to honor my pop whose mn is Ray. My question is do you like it? If so can you think of another way to spell it that it is still masculine because I don’t love the capital R. If you don’t like it, is there another name you know that uses Ray? Thanks. It is for a boy by the way!

Macray reminds me of something from McDonalds. Maybe use Ray as a middle name, like your pops.

I like what the first poster suggested Macrae with the nn Mac its very cute. My teenage daughter has a friend name Mac and hes the sweetest thing.
