August Marie vs. August Rose

Which do you prefer for my 2nd daughter. Oldest is Amelia Leigh (3). all mn’s are family names. Lee was my dad’s name and Marie and Rose are my mother and grandmothers mn.

I think its a lovely name, but I think it would sound more feminine and would better match your older daughter, Amelia, if the name was Augusta! Augusta Rose has a beautiful sound to it...

i prefer August Marie because August Rose sounds like the name of a flower, both are pretty though, i also like the suggestions of Augusta and Rosemarie

i have i a little cousin named August and her middle name is Gabrielle i like August but not the middle names

both are great names but august marie just rolls off the tongue and doesn’t amelia leigh and august marie sound great? august rosemarie doesn’t sound anywhere near as good as the one syllable options.
