I love Elisa, but I think a mother and daughter with the same first name is really confusing and I think it is important that she have her own name and own identity. Helena is beautiful and it is always nice to honor grandparents, but this is nice because it is a twist on the name, not the exact name. Helena Elisa or Helena Elizabeth are nice. Helena Eliza would be cute too because Eliza is a derivative of Elizabeth and it is so close to Elisa that is is like a combination of the two names.

I don’t use my first name Elisa! So it wouldnt be confusing. It is also my mom’s first name! She goes by just Lisa, so if we name our baby that she will go by the full name Elisa!

I do like Elisa best, so if that is the case, I guess I’d go with Elisa! Although, I still like Eliza as a sort of combo of Elisa and Elizabeth too. Good luck!
