Emmett the Clown is what I think of with that name. Griffin is alright and James is a great middle name.

Emmett is okay but I am really not a fan at all. I really like Everett though.
Griffin is one of those names that I am kinda on the fence about. We have a coaster here at Busch Gardens Williamsburg called the Griffin so its hard to see it as a persons name

I really like James as a middle name. Emmett makes me think of Back to the Future...The Doc. Griffin reminds me of Harry Potter. Just first moments thoughts.

Emmett Kelly Sr. was born in Sedan, Kansas on December 9, 1898. His father worked the railroad, and his mother ran the family-owned boarding house. Sedan has created the Emmett Kelly Museum in his honor. He grew up, not in Sedan, but on a farm in rural Missouri. He worked at various jobs, finally seeming to settle down working as a cartoonist for a silent film company in Kansas City. It was there that Emmett Kelly first drew the tramp clown character that he would later portray, Weary Willy.

No, I do not have any children yet however, I have always hated nicknames. I have never gone by one myself or called anyone by one.

My feelings on nicknames should not affect this poll however. I am asking for what you think of the names, not what do we think of possible nicknames.

The name for us, however, is a strong German name, which is my heritage.

I am not being rude or anything. Just the nickname E.J. makes me want to vomit. It’s okay to say that. It sounds very redneck and I do not like it.

I LOVE Griffin James the best. I think of a hansom and musical personality. I also like Emmett but just LOVE Griffin!!!

I dislike Griffin very much it just sounds like someones lastname probably bc i know quite a few ppl with that lastname, now Emmett James is amazingly handsome.
