If you want to pronounce it Lay-uh, i’d go with different spelling. Everybody will pronounce it Lee-uh. How about Lea or Leya? I prefer Leya, and think it is very pretty.
In the Bible the two sisters are Rachel and Leah, pronounced Lay-uh
Yeah, I got Leah from the bible, and I love lay-uh but don’t really like lee-uh and I am not so fond of other spellings lika Leya...Do you think it would be too confusing?
Once people get to know her, they will learn she pronounces it Lay-uh...she’ll introduce herself anyway, so its not a big deal...
If your going to use (lay-uh) I’d spell it Laia or Leyah- but i personally would go for Molly- Its gorgeous, will age well, and flow well with your last name
While that is true about Rachel and Leah, I’m pretty sure that nobody enforces the Leah (Lay-uh) pronunciation, and it is very easy to confuse.
My choice would be Mollie Hochstadt...do you have a middle name?
I think so too! I love Molly. Can you help me with middle name suggestions for all three? I’m still undecided!
leah is pn lee-ah.... not lay-uh
In the bible, it is pronounced Lay-uh
