I always loved Jennie, but I met a girl who spelled it like this and she always had so much trouble having to correct people and having to spell it over the phone, so I named my daughter Jennifer nn Jenny. It works well.

Jenny is the better spelling IMO but I dont like the name

My name is Jennifer and I go by Jenni.

I think that if the full name is Jennie, use the ie. if it is a nickname for Jennifer or Jenna, go by Jenny.
