Stella vs. other

Hi there- I am expecting a little girl and I love the name Stella. I love that it means "star", which has special meaning to me. I am pretty set on it, but my only concern is that it’s getting sort of trendy, which I don’t like. We were previously considering Elodie but have not completely ruled it out. I also love nature/hippie names. I love the names Willow and Meadow, but unfortunately our last name starts with W so it would all run together. I also like Summer and Brooke. Any other suggestions? Nothing too out there, like Rainbow or Moonbeam, but something along the lines of Willow, Meadow, Brooke, etc. that will flow with a "W" last name. I guess I really need some help...I’m all over the place! haha Thanks so much :o)

Thank you so much ladies. Lauren- Estelle is really pretty! Our last name is two syllables. Crystal- Thanks so much for the suggestions. I especially like Sienna and Hazel. Also, I forgot to mention that I like Lucia (Lou-chee-uh), meaning "light".

Oh and I also like Isla (meaning "island"), but not sure if that is going to be trendy too. What do you think? No offense to anyone, but the last thing I want is my daughter to be in the next generations of Ashley and Jessica. I would like her to have a slightly unique name.

Another "star" name is Celeste or Celestine. Of the choices you listed earlier:

Stella/Estelle - Estelle is the nicer one
Elodie - I wonder if the child would be constantly correcting people who think she said "Melody"
Hazel - I love this name. It would be my choice.
Lucia - Very pretty.
Sienna - It’s okay, but some of the others are nicer.
Autumn - This is cute.
