I like Emerson Paige, Emerson Grace...more of the classic choices. I would like it to be girly.

Emerson seems too masculine to me. How about Emmeline? Amelia?

I personally don’t care for the name. I think girls should have feminine names. Though, Emerson is being used a lot for girls right now. Along with other unisex names like Riley, madison, cameron,... I guess it just depends on what you like.

I don’t care for Emmeline and I love Amelia, but a good friend’s daughter is named Amelia.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this name for a girl. I named my little baby Emerson Leigh! Actually alot of people have never even heard it as a name and most that I have talked to would assume it was a girls name not a boys name. It is a boy name but has NEVER been popular. We get told it is a beautiful name all the time. Definently use it if you like it! We used Leigh as a middle because it is a family name but if I could have picked a middle name I would have used one of these...

LOVE Grace, Jane, Kate, Claire and Anne all as middle names...we must have the same taste. Love family names also...Emerson Leigh is super cute.

I like Emerson Elise a lot too. The meaning doesn’t bother me as much as whether or not it actually sounds like a boy. I have no idea what my names means or my two sons names? Although I know many people look at that and use it as a tool while deciding. Thanks for your input! It’s all appreciated :)

I think that it is silly to not name your child something because it "means" something...You may name you child Aiden meaning "fire"...your child is never going to be a fire either. It is another family name.We loved this but the whole ET thing threw my hubby off.
