William Easton vs. Yes? vs. No?

We’ve finally found an "E" name we LOVE! My f-i-l’s name is William and we think it flows better w/ William as fn but we will call him Easton. We would love input as to a mn. But Easton will not change! We will be calling him Easton. Thanks! -T, L, Mikayla, and Ellis

If you are going to call him Easton then do Easton William. It flows fine. Otherwise when he starts school he will be so confused, the teachers will call him the wrong name andthe list goes on.

Im sure lots of people will disagree but I LOVE the idea of a fn honoring somoeone in the family but going by an "original" (to the family at least) middle name..I think William Easton is ADORABLE!!!

Thank you! I know that it will probably be a pain for him to tell his teachers that he goes by Easton instead of William but growing up I knew a TON of kids that handled it fine. And I just feel William Easton flows better and our other son’s mn is after my father (Ellis Thomas). I think we’re not going to find anything we like better than William Easton. Thanks for all the input!

go by what you’ve chose William Easton is wonderful and he’ll be fine my brother was we was in school is name is Christopher Ryan and he went by Ryan, the teachers won’t call him the wrong name bc once he starts kindergarten it’ll be passed on and they’ll make a note of it in his record i also know this bc my uncle is a teacher and he told me thats what they did with my brothers name.
