Wiley vs. WDYT?

I really like Wiley for a little boy but I have been getting negative feedback. Some people tell me that it sounds like a little kid cant pronounce Riley correctly when you say it. But I really like the name and I was wondering what you think about it...I’m thinking Alexander for a mn.

I like it, Wiley just reminds me of a character from Dazed & Confused...Mitch’s real name was Wiley Wiggins, a name that really stuck out. I would vote for Wiley over the trendy Riley anyday!

i used 2 really like it then i realized everytime i hear it the 1st thing i think of is Wyle E. Coyete. on Bugs bunny. So i decided not to put it on our list for that reason. Its not a bad name tho

It’s cute but it sounds like more of a nickname in my opinion. Also, what the previous poster said, he might get teased -- Wiley Coyote.

What about Wyatt?

I do like Wiley Alexander, but I personally would prefer Wyatt Alexander.

Im sorry but I think that is an absolutely awful name. It really does sound like a 4 year old trying to say Riley with a speech impediment. Plus it just doesnt seem masculine enough nor will it age well at all

i think it’s okay, but i agree that it sounds like someone trying to say Riley but can’t say their W’s properly, but it’s true that Riley is really popular, if you do Wyatt, you can still nn him Wylie, or what about Wycliff? but if you still love Wiley Alexander then go with it, i also think Wiley Johnathan would be nice
