Baby vs. Girls

We’re having our first children, little girls, after 6 years of trying. They’re being carried by a wonderful woman who is blessing us with our two little girls. We’re having a little trouble naming them. The names I like are so similar, I’d have to give them something match-y and ridiculous. I’ll list the names in the first comment. Any suggestions and add-ons are welcome. Thanks!

My husband is really tired of the name game. He’s not really helping at all, unless to say "Ew." He’s not really keen on Josephine or Evangeline. His name is Joseph and his Great Grandmother’s name was Josephine, which is why I thought it would be a nice middle name. He just thinks Evangeline is ugly.

I like Sophia & Clara, Sophia & Emelina, and Clara & Emelina. If you don’t have mns, what about using the carrier’s fn and mn as the girls mns? GL!

I have to agree with your husband about Josephine and Evangeline. They don’t do much for me. My fave’s from your list are Sophia, Seraphina, Emelina, Juliana, Juliette, Rosalie and Rosaline.

Sophia Juliette
Emelina Juliette
Juliana Rosalie
Seraphina Rosalie/Rosaline
Sophia Rosalie/Rosaline
Emelina Rosaline

I also think you might like the name Angelina. WDYT?

Emmaline is a variant of Emelina...what do you think of that? You could vary the spelling (Emeline?) if you like. I think Seraphina is pretty too. Good luck!

I like Emmeline but my last name has begins with M and has a lot of vowels and N’s. So, it doesn’t really sound too great as a first name with the abrupt ending but Emelina has a different sort of flow, if that makes sense.

Seraphine Rosalie and Sophia Juliette are very nice. I just don’t know about having a Sera and Sophia. I don’t really want them to be match-y.

Sarah Beth and Juliana Rose!

I think just Sara and Julie would be cute. What about Sara Hope and Julie Grace? Sara and Juliana are cute too, though.

Juliana and Seraphina sound beautiful! I also like Clara and Sophia as a combo. GL!

How do you feel about Emilia instead of Emelina? I like Emelina, but I love Emilia more!
