Nixie stays. I realize its different and not everyone likes it, but my husband and I took forever to find it and we both love it. We, however, are stuck on the middle name. Any suggestions are welcome!

I feel sorry for her when she grows up and has to use this name on a resume. Looks like a stripper or porn name. Sorry--but I like Jacqueline the best-spelled this way.

For all of you people who were rude, I hope you never have to be the victim of things like that. It was mean. I wasn’t asking for your judgement, just help with a middle name. Rather than being constructive you were just being horrible. Thank you Paigeb and the poster after her, for helping me rather than making an already hormonal woman feel like hell. I doubt I’ll use this site again. The name has meaning to my husband and I and it took us FOREVER to come up with it. Its a combination of two names of two people who meant a lot to us who were killed in a car accident a few months ago, not that that matters to any of you. I love Nixie Elizabeth, Nixie Olivia, and Nixie Claire. Thank you.

Nixxi has a beautiful meaning its mostly known in magical mermaid tales and means sprinkling water or child of the water I think its beautiful not only to have a unique name but one with thats meaningful to you great choice...I love it!!!!
