Twin vs. Shepherd vs. Names

Hello. My name is Sophia Shepherd. I am having B/G twins soon and desperately need names. I already have Kara Faith Shepherd (5), Nathan William Shepherd (3), and Cassidy Anne Shepherd. My friend Elyse is desperately trying to make me name my little boy Derek Shepherd and I am dead set against it (she is a Grey’s Anatomy/ Patrick Dempsey fan). Could you please help me choose their names and give your opinion on naming my little boy Derek (to humor Elyse). Thanks!

Sorry, I agree with you Sophia, naming your son Derek is a downright awful idea!

Unless you want your child to be dubbed McDreamy for the rest of his life I wouldn’t :) Maybe ___ Derek Shepherd but not as the first name. Maybe even spell it Derrick.......
