Elyse Hope vs. Elyse Nicole vs. Maddalyn

We really like the two first names. We are trying to figure out the middle name. We want a common, but not toooo common name for a daughter (the little one is a surprise!). Any suggestions for mn? Which fn is better?

My middle name is Elyse. I’m so sorry to be rude, but I just can’t stand when people change the spellings of names - it’s not more unique, creative, or pretty, it is just the same name looking juvenile and sometimes trashy.

If you want Elyse, spell it Elyse or Elise.
If you want Maddalyn, spell it Madeleine or Madelyn.

BTW Madeleine sounds better with the last name than Elyse, so why not use Madeleine (still pronounced MAD uh LYNNE) Elyse?

Thanks for all the comments. Lauren, I have to agree with you. If we decide to go with Elyse, that’s the way we will keep it. We’ve looked at alternated spellings, and we just don’t like them.

Any other ways to spell "Maddalyn"?
