Shannon Elizabeth? vs. Bad idea? vs. good idea?
Hi, Im a huge dancing with the stars fan. I heard this name on a contestant of the show. I guess Elizabeth is her last name. Anyway I fell in love with the name and my husband loves it too, but im worried that ppl will think of her. But i figured I never heard of her til the show, so maybe its ok to use it? What do you guys think. Will ppl think of the star or not? Also do u even like the name at all?

i am a younger parent and all I think of when i see that name is how she got naked in american pie. (she was the exchange student) but it is a lovely name. so its up to you. ;)

My husbands best friends oldest daughter is Shannon Elizabeth, I love Shannon Elizabeth ! Shannon isnt that popular & Elizabeth is a great old fashioned name !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey in 17 years when you’re little shannon’s group of friends gets old enough to watch it, there will be a newer movie out, without shannon elizabeth. i hope american pie isn’t still being watched in 17 years.

I love the name Shannon, I think it’s so pretty and underused.
Shannon Elizabeth has a nice ring to it, it does make me think of the actress, but I don’t think that will be a huge problem for you.
If your not comfortable with it, use Shannon with a different mn, but I suggest keeping Shannon, it’s a great name!!
