Does anyone have good space-saving tips for a nursery? My bf and I are sophomores in college, so we have only a one bedroom apartment to work with...tips helpful!!!!

Don’t buy furniture you don’t need. Obviously a crib is necessary. But you don’t need a changing table. I always just laid a receiving blanket on the bed or floor to change the baby. Also, baby clothes are small. you can just clear a drawer in your own dresser to put the clothes. Be creative!

Buy a crib that has small lines, nothing with bulky or ornate wood. Just something simple and functional. They even sell corner cribs that right into a corner of a room and don’t take up as much floorspace. Also, use vertical space by mounting shelves on the walls. These can store all kinds of things...diapers, wipes, first-aid products, books, toys, etc. And like the pp said, you don’t need a changing table, and you can make room in your dresser and closet for the baby’s clothes. Use the space underneath the crib for storing extra blankets, sweaters, toys, etc. You can buy baskets or bins to slide underneath the crib for storing these things. You could also borrow things like a swing, a playpen, an exersaucer/walker, etc. when the baby needs them. These things are outgrown quickly, and if you borrow them you won’t have to store them once they’re outgrown and no longer used; you can just give them back. Hope this helps.

By the way, I like Emmelyn Faith or Emily/Emilie Faith!

When I saw girly/athletic/well aging, the first name that came to my mind was Brooke. I dunno, It just seems to fit. After that came Tessa. Brooke Eliana or Tessa Faith.
