Keaton Joel is lovely. I like the sound of Aevin but it looks trendy and made-up so it’s out for me. It resembles Alvin which only brings to mind the Chipmunks, also.

I think it should be long since Journey has a long middle name, meaning it must sound better with your last name -- which is short, yes?

Our last name is Toler--so it isn’t really short or long. What do you think--short or long middle name? By the way, we like--Josiah, Joshua, Nathaniel for Keaton. And Sebastian, Harrison, and Garrison for Aevin. Thanks!

You could go either way, depending on the middle name.

Aevin Garrison Toler sounds good, as does Aevin James Toler. I don’t like Aevin Michael Toler as well, so I would do 1 or 3 syllables, personally...

Keaton Josiah Toler is great, as is Keaton Michael Toler...

Definitely Keaton. Aiven would be interesting if it weren’t so close to the hugely popular Aidan? People will always be saying, "What? Aidan?" when you tell them his name. That happens with our Lydia, people always think it is Olivia. I think you guys would have an even harder time since Aiven is pretty unheard of.
Keaton Josiah is AMAZING but I also really like the mn Nathaniel. GL!!
