Claire ????? vs. Julia Claire vs. Eliza Claire

My husband and I have settled on a boy’s name (William Ellis), but we’re a bit stuck with girls names. We have one beautiful daughter already, named Ivy Katherine. Which do you think would match best with Ivy’s name? We want something pretty but not too frilly that feels like it goes with Ivy. Claire is a family name, so we want to use it either as a first or middle name. But what middle names would your pair Claire with if we use it as a first name? Claire Elizabeth is very pretty! I can’t believe we hadn’t already thought of this one ourselves!

I like Iris a lot as well, but I feel like it’s a bit *too* matchy with Ivy. We’re trying to steer clear of other botanical names (and probably word names in general) for that reason.

I also really like the suggestion of Zoe Claire -- that’s one I’ll have to run by my husband for sure.

I love Ivy and Zoe together as well. They look and sound great together...short and sweet, and they just fit perfectly! Ivy Katherine & Zoe Claire...beautiful!

I don’t really think Claire or Julia goes with Ivy. Claire and Julia are a lot more frilly than Ivy. But I do like the suggestion of Zoe. That’s really cute and spunky, just like Ivy!
