I don’t know many people with that name, BUT Amelia seems a little too out-dated. I would hate growing up with that name.

I only know one Amelia. Personally I don’t think it’s that uncommon. I think Amelia isn’t outdated at all...it’s a really pretty name. If you like it, use it.

I never knew any Amelia’s until I had my daughter, she’ll be 3 in July. Since her birth I’ve met 2 older Amelia’s and seen the name listed on websites numerous times. I think it’s a beautiful name, otherwise I wouldn’t have named my daughter Amelia and I don’t think it’s out-dated at all. Good Luck!
