I love Melanie but dislike Avery, sorry. I agree that they don’t flow though, I would do a name that doesn’t end in the "ee" sound. GL!!

Your name has a completely different flow than the one you’ve chosen for your daughter. Yours works but hers doesn’t.

nope...avery is staying. we’ve had that picked out for a long time. we just can’t find any other names that we like for a girl, at all. i esp. don’t want to name my daughter the same name as someone i know...and we’re not into family names...
