Claire vs. yes vs. no

I was thinking about naming my daughter Claire, but would she get made fun of because her name is "old fashioned"? I wasnt really worried about it until someone mentioned it to me. Her sisters name is Sierra, do they make a good sibset?

Claire is old fashioned, imo, but it is listed on this site over and over, so maybe it will be popular when you daughter goes to school.

Claire is a fine name. Nobody will make fun of her, its very cute and it will age well. Claire Marie is too adorable.

I wasn’t sure which question of yours I’d be answering so I didn’t vote. I think Claire is a gorgeous name, and it is picking up popularity (#62 on SSA list last year) so I don’t think it will be an issue. I think it is one of those "old fashioned" names that is making a comeback. GL!!

I don’t think Claire is old fashioned at all. It has been in or near the top 200 for the past 20 years in America.

No, I don’t think Claire is old-fashioned, it’s a classic. I don’t think people will make fun of her.

Claire is a classic name that is actually quite popular right now (but not TOO popular). Good choice.
