Ayanna vs. Fatima vs. Maile

which name do you like for my daughter? I am adopting my third daughter who will be a mix of african american and cacausian, she is due soon and I haven’t chose a name yet, please help, thanks so much ~Amber~ ~Teaghan Isabell~ and ~Cambria Jolene~

I think they’re all pretty, but I voted for Ayanna bc I think it stands out as the prettiest. And I knew a few Fatima’s in school. And they got called "Fat" and "Fatty." So I would think twice about that.

Fatima has the word fat in it. Even if she’s skinny she’ll get teased they’ll call her fatty fatima. trust me, im super thin and my name is maddie when i was little my brothers called me fatty maddie.

what about Jazlene? That seems African Americanish. It’s so pretty! I woudn’t use Fatima.

I LOVE Fatima. If you ay it Fah-teema she wont get as many fat jokes
I like the previous sugestion of Jazlene, but Jaslene would appear less (I sound so awful when I say this, I mean it in the nicest way possible) lower class.
I dislike the name Ayanna. Its over used, and I dont think its very pretty.

I agree that you shouldn’t use Fatima. DH’s name is Parker and he was always call Porker even though he is very slim!
