Ashton Alexander? vs. wierd? if my name’s vs. Ashlee???

I would like to name my son Ashton after myself(Ashlee). I have Ashton Alexander picked out. Does it flow??? Do you like it? Is it wierd to name him Ashton if my name’s Ashlee? Need opinions pls!!!!!!!!! .............Also he’ll have double A.A. initials like me also

I think its cute...but do you go by Ash? there is a chance his friends may call him Ash, and if yours call you that too, then it could be sticky...

I think Alexander Ashton is really a handsome name if thats the case!

I very seldom get called Ash. My 2 best friends call me that sometimes but they are the only 1’s. But even they dont call me Ash all the time. I cant use Alexander as a 1st name tho, but I really appreciate the input! Thanx!!

i think it’s a bit odd because the names are so close, but if you want to honor yourself in your sons name then i suppose that’s fine. i really love the name Ashton, and Ashton Alexander flows well.

I think it’s very weird but I don’t even like when sons are named after fathers as in Juniors and whatnot.
